Awakenings & Women at Work

Watercolor. By Idelle Okman Tyber.

There is still time to visit the Awakenings exhibit and its reception on April 7 at Topanga Canyon Gallery and meet the 20 exhibiting artists as you view and purchase their work.

With taxes on your mind, now is a good time to explore this show and look at all the different ways we begin again, from the start of the day, the unfolding of life, or the provocative thoughts and actions that propel us. Rebirth, revival, and arousal are presented in a full spectrum of artistic mediums in a show that will embrace, challenge, and motivate you. Explore ceramics, watercolor, oils, acrylic paints, photography, metal and glass art. Awakenings continues until April 15; Reception, April 7, 4-7 p.m.

Women at Work

Three women and one man define Women at Work through the lens as an observer, through creative endeavors made by our own hands, and through the unique way we each view the world. The show runs from April 18-May 15, with the artists’ reception on April 28, 4-7 p.m.
