Artist Mary Wright Explores Family Roots & Nature

Mary Wright poses in front of one of her art pieces.

Local mixed media artist Mary Wright, explores nature’s elements in a new exhibit at the Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center. Wright’s ethereal art has always been inspired by the interrelation between the four elements—earth, air, fire, water—and the regenerative qualities of nature. Mary agrees with her grandfather-in-law, Frank Lloyd Wright, who said, “I believe in God, only I spell it N-A-T-U-R-E.”

The show opened with a reception on February 2 and runs through February 27 2018.

The exhibit is located at the Visitor Center at 26876 Mulholland Highway Calabasas.
