March 25 will be the last day for Pigments of our Imagination, featuring Russell Hunziker, Kit Plumridge, Toby Salkin and Sari Scheer. The rain did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm and crowd at the reception on March 10. The Steampunk pieces by Kittonius V. Plumii (Kit Plumridge) were a big hit, as was Sari Scheer’s recycled glass sculptures, and Don paintings by Toby Salkin and Russ Hunziker.

Awakenings will open on March 28 with a full spectrum of artistic mediums on display, that explores the start of the day, the unfolding of life, and the provocative thoughts and actions that propel us. Rebirth, revival, and arousal, Awakenings has something to stir your emotions or calm your soul. Twenty artists are included in this provocative show of watercolor, an oil painting, ceramic and glass sculpture, photography and more that will be for sale throughout the event.

Highlights include a magnificent painting, In the Beginning by Kate Browning, Don Holtz’ photographic images of nature in Topanga, and contemporary work by Moises Mendoza. The artists’ reception is Saturday April 7 from 4 – 7 p.m.

Recent renovations to the Gallery make the experience soothing, fun and enjoyable. Enhanced technology allows for a broader viewing of specific artists, while additional hanging space allows for more art in an open setting, as you peruse the gallery.
