Coco Blignaut is offering a children’s workshop for all things witchy.
Discover the history, craft, and myriad mysteries of the Celtic Druids. Learn how to scry in a bowl of water and look for omens in the modern world. Sit in silence and tap into nature, as Coco shares stories and teaches how to navigate fears. In this mystical environment, complete with relaxing music, positive spells, and healing potions, learn to speak to trees, do nature rituals, and create and use mantras to help with stressful situations. Coco will also demonstrate how to make nature crowns, witches’ brooms, magic wands, and powerful sigils (an inscribed or painted symbol considered to have magical powers.) Then, after all this witchiness, replenish the spirit with ancient Druid recipes, including oat cakes, poppy bread, and flower-and-herb-infused waters and teas.
Suggested for ages 8-15, the Beloved Witch workshop will run on Wednesday afternoons from August 1-29, from 4-6 p.m. in Coco’s garden. Space is limited to 10 people.
Cost is $300 for the month or $80 per workshop. To register and for more information: Facebook: BELOVED WITCH’ or call Coco at (310) 902-1869.
