Community Compost Hub Build

Volunteers gathered at the Topanga Community Center on May 4 to build Topanga’s new kitchen waste compost hub with the guidance of LA Compost, the non-profit organization collaborating on the project. The goal is to have the compost hub up and running by the end of the month. Topanga residents will be able to take a workshop to learn how they can participate in the community program and turn kitchen green waste into “Topanga Gold.” Watch for upcoming announcements, and learn more in our Topanga Gold section.
