Tiny Porch Concerts: The Lonely Heartstring Band w/ Sparky & The Ancient Mariner

July 7 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us for a free concert in the park! Tiny Porch Concerts, in partnership with the National Park Service, is hosting free concerts on the first Sunday of the month from May through September. On July 7, see performances by The Lonely Heartstring Band and Sparky & The Ancient Mariner:
Nourished by deep roots in the expansive canon of traditional American music, The Lonely Heartstring Band embodies the modern American condition—an understanding and reverence for the past that informs a push into the future. George Clements (guitar, vocals), Patrick M’Gonigle (fiddle, vocals), Charles Clements (bass, vocals), Matt Witler (mandolin), and Gabe Hirshfeld (banjo) bring together their own musical styles to create a sound greater than the sum of its parts.
The harmony that rings from the acoustic duo of Sparky & The Ancient Mariner is designed to invite the audience to a new experience. With great care and construction of arrangement the duo strives to lift the spirits of listeners and soften the oft negativity of an otherwise monotone world.
***Please note that the location is subject to change. King Gillette Ranch will host the concerts while Peter Strauss Ranch undergoes repairs from the Woolsey Fire.***
The event is free. Bring chairs or picnic blanket to sit on. For questions, call our Visitor Center at (805) 370-2301.
