CHP West Valley tweeted that they always wanted to work out with The Rock.
Malibu Canyon was closed in both directions for hours on Sunday, March 3, after a truck-sized boulder fell onto the road shortly after 9 a.m., blocking the southbound lane. Special equipment was brought in to break up the giant rock, and traffic was moving again by the end of the day. It’s the second time this winter that a boulder has shut down a major canyon road. A similarly massive boulder fell on Topanga Canyon on January 23. And with more storms in the forecast, rain might not be the only thing falling. Canyon travelers should use caution.
