Topanga Town Council began in 1977, when resident Jan Moore had a vision of how to serve the community. Topanga is an unincorporated town within the Los Angeles County Supervisor’s Third District. Since 1977, the Town Council, a 501(c)(4) became a non-profit California corporation which provides a communication mechanism to address important issues that affect local residents, property owners, and business owners. The Council works closely with the CHP, Fire, Sheriff, Supervisor’s office, and local organizations to assist with an avenue of interaction and cooperation. Headed by Stacy Sledge since 2008, the TTC has spearheaded numerous community initiatives, including the formation of our community website, OneTopanga.com.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Take minutes at our monthly general meetings and post them online as an e-newsletter; help with the emergency preparedness activities and events, including assisting the Access Card manager; help inform the community of Topanga events and notices via social media, articles, and Onetopanga.com.
