Earth Day returns to Topanga this year reconfigured as a family-friendly event with a focus on children, celebrating sustainable living and building awareness in the next generation.
Hosted by the Rosewood/CoLab and the Topanga Film Institute, the two-day fair aims to be zero-waste, with a focus on reusable ware and minimal waste. Performances by well-known children’s music artists, educational/interactive exhibits and food and drink fill out the festivities. Families will enjoy a virtual reality room with realistic, immersive “earth views” as well as activities such as native plantings, learning how to recycle and demonstrations in how every family can compost food waste.
April 22, 23, 10am to 6pm. More info at www.kidzearthday.com.
