The name may seem unfamiliar, but we are hoping it will become a household word.
M’Online is the shorthand name for the new portal of news for Topanga and all the communities in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is the long-awaited online website for Messenger Mountain News.
Located at messengermountainnews.com, where you are reading this now, it will continue to be a work in progress as we tweak it and fill it with every issue we have published since our newspaper’s launch in January 2017.
Now you will be able to link to articles to send on to family and friends. Your favorite columns are all in one place. Look for local resources, such as a non-profit directory and a business directory. New sections rich in material, such as our “Trash Talk,” will provide key information about recycling and waste management, inspired by our recent eye-opening tour of WM’s recycling facility.
Access the excellent reviews of the Theatricum’s repertory season, keep up with artists at the Topanga Canyon Gallery and stay current with regional politics and evironmental challenges.
We are proud to launch this effort with this issue and look forward to feedback from the community, which will undoubtedly keep us humble, as we strive to maintain the same standards of excellence that we’ve provided in our print publication.
Going online is a whole different world from that of print and opens up immense possibilities for service and information to the community. We welcome the challenge. The Messenger Mountain News will continue in its print form. M’Online will be an enhancement, not a replacement.
The baby is born! M’Online . . . Soooo sophisticated and elegant. I’m speaking to the entire website. It is STATE OF THE ART . . . waaay over my head. Congratulations to all you creative prolific people!
This is wonderful!
