Topanga CERT—Community Emergency Response Team—will be sponsoring a CERT training class taught by Los Angeles County Firefighter Mitch McKnight, on June 1 and June 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Topanga EOC, located at 139 Old Church Rd, Topanga, CA 90290.
New members are always welcome to join the CERT team, but there is no requirement to be part of team. The goal is to make sure that members of the community have an opportunity to receive emergency training.
Subjects covered include basic emergency medical treatment, light search and rescue, fire safety, and disaster preparedness. There is no charge for this class. RSVP to 818-445-3211 or sdubrin@ethanchristopher.com.
