Topanga Historical Society (THS) was organized in 1974 by a group of dedicated community leaders who recognized the urgent need to collect and preserve records of Topanga’s unique history and to make them available to future generations. The Society maintains an archive center and presents local history programs. Their board meetings are open to the public so interested individuals are encouraged to attend.
“The Topanga Story” is a book by the Historical Society and is sold at select retail stores in Pine Tree Circle.
The Society also holds wonderful quarterly potlucks with a program that covers some unique aspect of Topanga history. topangahistoricalsociety.org
