Our wonderful wet winter continues with 5.94 inches of rain falling on Fernwood in February. The season total now stands at 21.19 inches of precipitation, well above the 14.43 inches that is average for February 27. In fact, we have surpassed our entire season average of 19.14 inches of the wet stuff. All rain that falls from now until September 30 is a bonus. As usual, we have received more rain than the surrounding flatlands. Santa Monica has received 17.47 inches; Woodland Hills 17.87 inches; and Los Angeles civic center 18.50 inches of rain.
