For Her Pleasure and Wellness

One is surprised to learn that the most talked about intimacy lube for women’s pleasure is created by a man.  Then again, why not?

Mathew Gerson is the son of a pediatric oncologist and former teaching assistant to the late Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, who fathered the progressive Jewish Renewal Movement which took its influence from Christian, Sufi and Eastern mysticism and is hallmarked by insisting on full equality for women. With that background, it is easy to understand Gerson’s sensitivity to women’s issues.

Gerson’s flagship product, FORIA Pleasure, is hand-crafted from the female flower of the marijuana plant, one of the oldest known aphrodisiacs in the world and packs 450mg of THC per 30ml bottle! With approximately ten servings per bottle, that’s about 40ml THC per usage or 2.5mg THC each pump.  FORIA Pleasure won’t get you high when applied topically to women’s private parts because the vagina is a closed system so the TCH won’t get into the circulatory system.

About 15-20 minutes after application, women do experience “Party Down Below!” as FORIA enhances pleasure, heightens tactile sensitivity and orgasm, while its coconut oil base nourishes and heals delicate tissue.  Partners may experience their own euphoric party in about 30-40 minutes after ingestion.

“Because of FORIA Pleasure’s THC content it can only be sold in states where it is legal to grow, process and sell recreational cannabis,” explains Gerson. “FORIA’s headquarters are in Boulder, Colorado. However, our “Heartquarters” are here in Topanga, California, where we conceived the brand.”

“Legalize orgasm!” reads a FORIA bumper sticker. “One mature anorgasmic woman reported she experienced orgasm for the first time in her life using FORIA Pleasure,” said Gerson. “I learn a lot from the women in my life and from the feedback I receive from FORIA users,” he says, whose runway model-turned-health coach fiancée, Colleen Baxter, runs Vessel And Soul, a personal coaching business from their Topanga Canyon home. Baxter’s wellness coaching includes healthful detox from birth control, boosting energy and libido and preparing a healthy vessel for pregnancy and baby through nutritional guidance, meditation and movement.

Listening to women and understanding their monthly challenges, Gerson developed FORIA Relief for women that launched January 2016. They are suppositories with a 60:10 ratio of medicinal THC to CBD oil in organic MCT oil base. When used vaginally, bypassing the digestive system and liver, FORIA Relief is non-psychoactive and is reported by its users to effectively relieve menstrual cramps.

The cannabinoids in the marijuana plant directly impact the immune system and the nerve endings of the uterus, cervix, ovaries and surrounding smooth muscle tissues. THC positively affects the nerves and assists in blocking out pain while also allowing for more pleasant signals to be received by the brain, while CBD works in the immune system by suppressing the mechanisms responsible for inflammation. CBD also slows down electrical signaling to muscles and allows them to relax, thereby reducing cramping.

One testimonial came from Jessica K.: “I have severe pelvic hyper-tonic disorder compounded by a prolapse surgery (scary and causing even more muscle spasms) and have been on meds that cause stomach bleeding and gut issues) for years. I dread my period or any flaring of my pelvic region. I was visiting Colorado and in severe pain when someone suggested that I visit a dispensary and look for these. WOW! Literally saved my life. It was the first time in seven years the muscles of my pelvis actually relaxed. The cramping after an hour was hardly noticeable and although TMI, I was able to eliminate in a less painful way. These need to be legal everywhere as they really are a medical intervention. Thank you FORIA for this.”

FORIA Explore for gay men has the same 60:10 ratio of THC/CBD as FORIA Relief and is in a jojoba oil base, which is purportedly approved for latex compatibility in other men’s lubricant products, although not yet FDA-approved in FORIA. Users report greater pelvic relaxation, diminished discomfort, heightened pleasure release of tension and deeper penetration.

FORIA’s medicinal cannabis oil is extracted from certified organic cannabis plants, using leading-edge, solvent-free pharmaceutical-grade processes that provide extracts in their purest possible form. They test all FORIA carrier oils, such as coconut and sunflower, for potency, pesticides, residual solvents and microbials at multiple stages of the process to ensure the cleanest and safest final product for delicate tissue. Later this year, FORIA Pleasure and Explore will be available in Oregon, Nevada and Washington—three of eight states, plus the District of Columbia—that have legalized recreational marijuana use.

Wanting to enhance women’s orgasm worldwide, Gerson developed FORIA Awaken, that he plans to launch in January 2018. It is a proprietary blend of eight organic plant-based aphrodisiacs in MCT oil base without THC.
