Topanga Actors Company presents its next free staged readings of A Doll’s House 2 on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, 2 p.m., at the Topanga Library.
After the door slam heard around the world in Henrik Ibsen’s Doll House, Nora comes back in this contemporary take on what happens next. The play is funny, smart and oh, so provocative. You love, detest, understand, and blame the characters. The author is a master of neutrality, presenting thorny questions and leaving it to the audience to duke it out with each other after the show. We know that because the actors are having a ball. Every rehearsal brings new questions and opinions, making for lively discussions.
In TAC’s efforts to introduce modern theater works to the community, this one really stands out!
