Happy Holidays, TPA activists, Friends, and Neighbors!
As has been its tradition, the Topanga Peace Alliance will hold its 16th annual holiday party on Friday, December 14, at Corazόn Performing Arts, to celebrate another year of peace and justice work, the end of 2018, Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Solstice, etc.
The gathering will be a potluck, so bring food and drink to share, especially main dishes and side dishes, though any contribution to our feast is appreciated. We thank Giovanna Brandi for hosting us at this wonderful space.
Volunteers are welcome to help with preparation, during the party, and cleanup.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the party will be for TPA members only, including those who have attended the First Friday films, or volunteered for the Opt-Out Drives, and other public outreach. This will be a time for gathering, sharing, and an informal sing-a-long by different TPA members.
At 8 p.m., the party opens to the public and other like-minded individuals and starts to rock out with Jim Crawford and Friends, and the Hot Toddies who return for the ninth year.
In the spirit of giving, TPA will be collecting warm clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, and tents for the homeless in Los Angeles. Please donate what you can.
