March is Pet Dental Health Month in Topanga and our local veterinarian, Holly Scoren, owner of Topanga Animal Clinic since 1993, is offering a 20 percent discount on all non-anesthetic dental treatment.
On the first Thursday of the month, Annie Wolf, ASVDT*, comes to Topanga to provide dental check-ups and cleaning. She is a veterinary nurse who has perfected the art of non-anesthetic dental care. “Years of training allows the procedure to be brief and tolerable, but not every pet is a candidate,” she says. “Most dogs and cats over the age of two require routine dental check-ups and care every six months to a year to maintain a healthy mouth.”
Cost ranges from $71 to $162 depending on frequency of visits and a $50 deposit is required. To schedule an appointment: (310) 455-1330.
Dr. Scoren also offers low-cost vaccination clinics the second Wednesday of every month, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., with a 50% discount to clients who are current (within a year) on their annual exam. They also micro-chip pets at any time but it’s best to make an appointment.
“Dr. Holly” is known for her personalized and compassionate care. “We love our patients and their special people who care for them,” she says.
