Topanga Community Club TCC is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to protect, maintain, upgrade and enhance the Community House and the grounds entrusted to its care. The TCC serves Topanga by providing access and support for philanthropic, educational, and community activities and services. The Community House is a meeting place for the Canyon Sages, Topanga Youth Services, anonymous groups, the Topanga Historical Society, Topanga Chamber of Commerce, the Topanga Symphony, spiritual and health gatherings and many low-cost programs. The adjacent Ball Field is the home field of Topanga Youth Soccer and the recently rebuilt playground is open to all children in the community. Financial support through membership or donations helps to keep the traditions of the Community House alive. Our income is provided by community memberships, rentals from weddings and special events, as well as fundraising to keep our doors open.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Volunteers are needed in 2019 for all kinds of events, maintenance, and general upkeep. Topanga Youth Services, TCC Improvements, Topanga Days and Sages Committees meet regularly and welcome participants. There is always general ongoing work such as sign painting, youth sports coaching, graphic design, and more. Let us know what you’d like to offer and we can share your talent with our members and friends. Have a special skill? Consider leading a class for older adults in our new senior classroom, slated to open in early spring. Topanga teens in need of community service hours are also encouraged to give back and help right here in their own back yard!
